William "Bill" Thacker

William “Bill” Thacker age 76 years, of Winchester, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025. Bill was born December 10, 1948 in Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe & Julia Thacker; daughter Betsy Thacker; sisters Ellen, Wanda & Dova.

Survivors include his wife Betty Thacker of Winchester; daughters Loretta Polley & Jerrol of Winchester, Mary Scott & William of Hillsboro; sons Alex Thacker & Angie of West Union, Sam Thacker of Winchester; sisters Tawna Nesbitt & Dennis of Blue Creek, Jane Hess of Dunkinsville, Theresa Reed of Blue Creek, Lynn Cable & Charlie of Georgia; brothers Mark Thacker of Seaman, Jimmy Thacker & Vickie of Blue Creek, Ronnie & Maradeth of New York, Harold & Rita of Seaman; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio, with Ronnie Richmond officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till Noon, with cremation to follow.
