William Rostine

William A. Rostine (Budman) passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born August 13, 1947 in Port Huron Michigan to the late Norman Rostine & Letha Kloss.

William is survived by a brother Joseph Rostine of West Union; 3 sisters Garnett Marie Jones of Seaman, Marileah Kloss of West Union & Helen Kidder of Waverly. He was also preceded in death by 2 brother- in- laws Carl Jones & Bob Chamblin and a nephew Carlton Jones.

He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. They were all same as his children & grandchildren. David & Crystal Reeves, David Reeves Jr. (Kristen Morgan), Johnathon JJ Reeves (Ronni Reeves), Amber Reeves Curtis (Joey Curtis), great nieces & nephews Makenzie Reeves, Alora Reeves, Kingstyn Curtis, Jason Hayslip, Braylen Reeves, Elijah Reeves, Madison Ferrell, Larry Kidder & many friends and family. Special friend Rob Long.

William will be missed; he was always ready to joke & laugh with anyone he met. He enjoyed the family & vacations to Florida & Tennessee with family meant so much to him. Riding his 4-wheeler, fishing on the river or creek bank with family & friends was such a joy to him. Sunday football with Rob he loved. William spent many years working at Osmans Feed Mill, then after many years retired from Sunset Bowl Recycle where he met many friends. Buddy never met a stranger. Buddy never let his sickness get him down, always smiled when family came in. He fought hard the last year and passed peacefully with family by his side at Anderson Mercy Hospital. Budman will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at Noon, at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with Clarence Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 am till the time of the funeral service.
