Wendell W. Swearingen Jr.

Wendell W. Swearingen Jr., age 87 years, of West Union, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Wendell was born July 26, 1937 in Adams County to the late Wendell Sr. & Virginia (Chandler) Swearingen.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie Swearingen of West Union; daughters Jessica Swearingen of West Union, Lisa Davis & David Seaman, Camella Thompson of Vanceburg, KY, Marla Kizer & Tom of Milford; son Chad Swearingen & Mandy of MI; sisters Sharon Chenoweth of West Union, Nancy Dowling & Wayne of Columbus, Linda Gallaher & Marvin of Cincinnati; brother Keith Swearingen & Diana of West Union; several grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Noon at the Kirker Cemetery, with military services provided by the Adams County Honor Guard. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
