Wade Reed

Wade Reed, 53, of Manchester, passed away, Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.  He was born March 25, 1971 in West Union, son of the late Gary and Joyce Collins Reed.

Even though he did not smoke or drink, he loved being down at Bottoms Up, enjoying the atmosphere and DD’ing all the folks that needed help. He loved anything outdoors: boating, fishing, hunting and much more. He also enjoyed going out to eat ALL the time.  He cherished his time spent with his kids, grandkids and all his family. He was also the first in line to help anyone that needed it.  He would answer his phone every time ready to lend a hand.  

Wade is survived by his children, Steven (Samantha Frost) Reed and Ashlee Reed; grandchildren, Baylee Storer, Chance Reed, Chloe Reed who is still on her way and Sawyer Pierre; sisters, Debbie (Mike) Rigdon, Mindy (Terry) Smith and Crystal (Matt) Leonard; special friends, Dee Dryden and Greg Siebert as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Manchester Church of the Nazarene, 508 Pike St., Manchester.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, at the church. Pastor Tony Watson will officiate. Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
