Vickie Brooks

Vickie Brooks, age 68 years of West Union, Ohio passed away, Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Vickie was born September 10, 1956 in Adams County to the late Benard & Esta (Hanson) Thatcher. She is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Kenny Brooks on October 20, 2001, they were wed on April 4, 1981.

Vickie enjoyed gardening, watching her flowers grow, and spending time with her children, grandchildren & family. She attended the Manchester Nazarene Church.

Survivors include son Joshua Lee Brooks of Bentonville; daughter Kendra Lucas & Matt of West Union; step-daughter Christina Little & Sean of Lake Waynoka; brother Gary Thatcher & Christy of West Union; sister Belinda Sininger & Rick of West Union; four grandchildren Aaron, Abby, Evan, and Nathan.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Tony Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirker Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till the time of the service at the funeral home. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
