Timothy Meyers, 63, of Manchester, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1962 in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Shelba and Myrtle Brown Meyers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Shirlee Meyers; brothers, Larry, Luster and Sherman Meyers.
To know Timmy is to love him. He had a smile and hug for everyone. He enjoyed attending church at Oak Grove and spending time with his family. Timmy had a heart as big as the world. He always was looking for family to “pop” in. Each person that knew Timmy holds special memories he left engraved in each of our hearts. He will be missed greatly. We can see him running the streets of Glory – what a treat- when his mission here on Earth was done and he met Jesus face to face and reunited with mom, dad and all that went before him. He can breathe again. Timmy was always happy to be the recipient of all the jokes. He said “you pick on me cause you love me so much!”
He is survived by his siblings, Frances Bernice King; Deloris (Tony) Davis, Mary Rupe, Shelby Nixon, Janet (Phil) Colvin, Christene (Herman) Colvin and Vickie Grooms as well as a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; 2 aunts, many cousins, many, many friends and his church family.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union. Pastor Jerry Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery in West Union.
