Thelma Ann (Baskerville) Parker, 90, of Stout, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20th, 2025. She was born March 22nd, 1934 in Portland, Tennessee to her parents Charlie and Cora (McDougal) Baskerville. She was happily married to Jimmy W. Parker for 58 years until his death in 2008.
Thelma was a wonderful mother to four children: Pat Lashbrook (Dennis), Marilyn Sego (John), Rita Bilyeu (Randy), and Larry Parker. She had 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Jimmy; her two sisters: Mae Crowder and Naomi Ryan; and her two brothers: Robert and Wallace Baskerville.
Thelma experienced God's grace during a tent revival in June 1953 and became a dedicated member of Old Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Stout, Ohio. She had a passion for reading and was recognized by everyone who knew her as a sincere, compassionate, and friendly woman.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 E. Allison Rd., Mooresville, IN 46158. Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery, in Newton, Indian. Thelma’s care in Ohio is entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester, Ohio.
