Tammy Y. (Edison) Fisher

Tammy Yvonne Edison Fisher, 65, of Manchester, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at her home. Tammy was born March 24, 1959 in Highland County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edwone Louis Edison and Carolyn Yvonne (Gregory) Edison Yankee.

Tammy was united in marriage to Raymond Allen Fisher on August 23, 1981. She loved caring for her family. She loved cooking, planting flowers, and decorating her home, especially at Christmas which was her favorite holiday. You can see that by the many Christmas decorations throughout the house. She also liked to crochet.

Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, Ohio. She was previously employed by the IGA in Winchester, and for several years at the former Cox IGA, in Manchester. She also worked at the Generation Center in Manchester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa Edison Fisher and Lori Edison Shinkle.

Besides her loving husband, Tammy is survived by three children: daughter, Trisha Shiveley (Tim Titus); and sons, Ray Fisher Jr. (Dannielle Mathews), and Brandon Fisher. She is also survived by four grandchildren Dallas, Sara, and Ian Shiveley; and Jayven Mathews; two brothers, Eric Edison and Charles (Billy) Edison; one sister, Mindy Edison Bowen; and former son-in-law, Josh Shiveley.

Tammy will also be missed by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece; as well as, many other family members and friends.

Time goes by way too fast...But memories will always last.

Tammy will be cremated.  Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Island Creek Church, 1971 Island Creek Rd., Manchester.  Alice Baird will officiate.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
