Susan L. Hodge

Susan L. Hodge, 71, of Rome, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her home.  She was born on January 29, 1954 in West Union, Ohio, daughter of the late Lewis Gale Cox and Mary Jo Lawson.  She was the widow of the late Robert Hodge, who passed away in 2017.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Susan was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at Manchester Veterans Club. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends at Bottoms Up and the Manchester Vets Club.   

Susan is survived by her son and daughter, Gerald Cassell Jr. and Nancy (Daniel) Hunt; brother, Roy Cox, grandchildren, Kaitlin Hunt, Brianna (Jason) Blythe, and Carrie (Joseph) Williams; 5 great children.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2025 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union.  Burial will follow at the Moores Chapel.
