Sonya Ayres Obituary

Sonya Ayres, age 67 years of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born March 10, 1959 in West Union, Ohio to the late Floyd & Audrey (Davis) Grooms.

Sonya is survived by her husband Tim Ayres of Lawrenceburg, IN; brother Rick Grooms & Ann of New Richmond, OH; nieces Teresa Grooms & Nan Grace; nephew Jason Grooms; several cousins & great nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at the East Liberty Cemetery with Owen Applegate officiating. Services are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
