Sonna R. (Brown) Martin

Sonna Rosalie Martin age 92 years of West Union, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center. Sonna was born on August 18, 1933 the daughter of the late Everett and Gertrude Brown in Mercer County, Ohio. Sonna was preceded in death by her husband Charles Martin, daughter Vickie Stevens, and granddaughter Jennifer Brown.

Sonna is survived by her son Terry Martin and Edie of West Union, Ohio; four grandchildren Kevin Brown, Lindsey Setty, Rachel Fogle, and Taylor Martin; eight great-grandchildren Adrianna Purvis, Megan Skinner, Amber Roseblossom, Trey Spears, Aris Setty, Connor Florence, Jadelynn Conley, and Greyson Roush, and two great-great-grandsons Colton Roseblossom and Colt Spears.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Luther Jolly officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M.  the day of the service.
