Ruth Doodle (Morris) Hanselman

Reba Ruth “Doodle” Hanselman, age 96, of Russellville, OH passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Ohio Valley Manor near Ripley.  She was born March 5, 1927 in Ash Ridge, OH to the late JT and Callie (Moore) Morris.  She was the widow of the late Lloyd W. Hanselman, who passed away in 2002.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol (Ralph) Tracy; son, Harold L. “Butch” Hanselman and sister, Lola Gelter. She was a member of the Ash Ridge Christian Union Church.

Doodle is survived by her grandchildren, Marilynn Boone of Batavia and Doug Hanselman of Ripley as well as several extended family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Meeker Funeral Home, 308 N. Columbus St., Russellville.  Chaplain Bonnie Bohn will officiate.  Burial will follow at Ash Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
