Obituary
Ruby J. Slack, 80, of Manchester, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 26, 1942 in Sinking Springs, daughter of the late Chester Perkins and Virgie Mae Arganbright. She was the widow of the late Chester Slack Sr., who passed away in 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John David Howard and 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Heath) Wilson; grandchildren, Blake James Perkins and Mallory Joe Tolle as well as Penny, Johnna, Rose, Denny and David.
Ruby will be buried next to her husband at Manchester Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
