Rosalie Shively

Rosalie (Church) Shively, age 71 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center.  She was born September 7, 1950 at home in Stout, Ohio to the late Donald & Rosemary (Taylor) Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Louis (Buddy) Church and a sister Sandra Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother and caregiver. Always putting the need of others before herself. Never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She attended the Eckmansville Christian Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Vernon Lee Shively; son Vernon (Donnie) Shively; daughter Melissa Tully and grandson Ben Tully & Saja; sisters Donna Jean Richmond, Phyllis Rice & John, Judy Kimbler & Larry; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Gideons International.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Rick Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirker Cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
