Richard Heater

Richard Heater, age 77 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. Richard was born January 28, 1948 in Duffy, West Virginia to the late Ruth Wickline. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Heater and grandson Weston Unger.

Richard was the owner/operator of Heater’s Repair from 1989-2009.

Survivors include sons Jeremy Heater of West Union, Brett Heater & Sarah of Hillsboro; daughters Kelly Hill & Karl of West Union, Teresa Bradford & Dustin of Sardinia, Ashley Unger & Matthew of Peebles, granddaughter McKinley Heater of Sardinia; sisters Audra Galford & Don of Beckley, WV, Helen Brown of Chillicothe, Karen Wickline of Beckley, WV, Dawn Balcom & Jimmy of Louisville; several grand and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the Adams County Honor Guard at 1:00 PM, at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
