Richard Lee Chambers

Richard Lee Chambers, age 49 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his residence.  He was born June 11, 1975 in Williamson, West Virginia, son of the late Burgess and Dorothy May White Varney.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Charles Shepard and Mike Matthews.

He is survived by his children, Oliva May, Isabella and Jacob Chambers; siblings, Billy Chambers, Paris (Sonya) Chambers, Karen Shepard, Tamatha Chambers, Wilma Jenkins, Bridget Chambers and Gidget Parker; sister-in-law, Ada Shepard; nieces and nephews, Lahoma Dillow, Tammy Chambers, Bobbie Jo Jordan, Carly Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Trevor and Tanner Neal, Hayley Grooms, Micah Parker, Jeramy, Daniel and Matthew Shepard, Kimberly Porter as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union.  Burial will follow at Stepp Cemetery in Blue Creek.
