Rhonda C. (Couch) Prater

Rhonda C. Prater, 58, of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 surrounded by her family, at her residence.  She was born May 10, 1964 in Cincinnati, daughter of the late Leonard and Fay Jones Couch.  She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Michael R. Prater.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Darryl Couch Jr.  

Rhonda was a feisty woman who was a heck of a pool shooter, great at horse shoes and pretty much any other sport she played.  She enjoyed playing games on her phone and most importantly, spending time with her grandbabies; sitting around bon fires and riding 4-wheelers with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tia (Jesse Hamm) Allen, Amanda (Charles) Blevins, Delilah (Tony) Biggs, Molly (Stephnie) Allen and Amber Blankenship; grandchildren, Matt, Jaela, Leland, Carson, Cayden, Steven, Dalton, Trenton, Klayton, Kylie, Charlie, Jymma, Lexi and one more on the way; siblings, Anita (Keith) Edwards, Darryl Couch, Leonard Couch, Sonya Couch, Larry (Stephanie) Couch as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2:00 PM, until the time of the celebration service at 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. 2nd St., Manchester.  Cremation will follow the service.
