Rex Allen

Rex Allen, 76, of West Union, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his residence.  He was born June 11, 1950 in West Carrollton, OH, son of the late Lebrun Allen and Margaret Louise Howard Davis.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda McHone Allen.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy and his sister, Brenda.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Rex (Kati) Allen Jr.; daughter, April (Jimmy) Dooley; grandchildren, Jacob (Taylor) Allen, Haylie Parson, Rylynn Combess, Myra and Noah Dooley; great-grandchildren, Eli, Lilly, JJ, Mavey and Levi; brothers, Frank and Hubert; sister, Betty; special brother-in-law, Jack McHone and close friend, Carl Stephenson.

Rex will be cremated.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 27, 2026 at New Beginnings Church, 409 E. Second St., Manchester.  Pastors Dale Little and Janie Lucas will officiate.  Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
