Raymond "Buddy" Elliott Jr

Raymond “Buddy” Elliott Jr, 88, of Russellville, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 8, 1937 in Brown County, OH to Raymond Sr and Lucy Ann (Slack) Elliott. Buddy was the cemetery sexton for Jefferson Twp for many years and was an US Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was also preceded in death by his sister, Vera Kimball.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Carol Elliott; daughter, Darla (Charles) Jones of Winchester; son, Shane (Annette) Elliott of Lake Waynoka; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren as well as many friends, wonderful neighbors, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville. John Neu will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. He will be cremated following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Queen City Hospice.
