Randy Allen Baker

Randy Allen Baker, 61, of Manchester, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence.  He was born July 13, 1961 in West Union son of Thomas and Sharon Scott Baker of West Union.   He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kimberly Ann Carpenter Baker.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jasper Scott and his paternal grandparents, Ora and Jessie Baker.  

Randy’s pride and joy was his grandchildren.  He also loved talking on the phone and would call his mother every evening at 10:00 PM.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Hollie (James “Gus”) Herrington; grandchildren, Andrew, Ayden and Angel Herrington; brother, Darin (Patsy Smith) Baker; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Scott; special nephew, Hunter Baker and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Randy will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life gathering from 5:00 PM, until the celebration service at 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. 2nd St., Manchester. Jerry Davis will officiate.
