Rachel Ross

Rachel Ross, 52, of Manchester passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her residence.  She was born December 24, 1973 in Maysville, KY, daughter of Jerry and Beverly Holsinger Ross of Manchester.  She was preceded in death by her beloved K-9, Snowball.

Rachel worked with Everyday Home Healthcare for several years, where her compassion and dedication were evident in the care she gave to every client. Above all, she cherished her children and grandchildren, who truly meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Courtney (Ryan) Proffitt and Caden Davenport; grandchildren, Aubrey, Colby and Bailey Proffitt, her brother, Kevin Ross as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rachel will be cremated.  Inurnment will be held at Manchester Cemetery at the family’s convenience.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
