Peggy Young

Peggy Young, age 66 years of West Union, Ohio passed away, Thursday October 31, 2024 at the UK Healthcare in Lexington. Peggy was born May 30, 1958 in West Union, Ohio to the late Homer & Phyllis (Thomas) Shiveley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Young; sister Kay Culp; brothers Roger Shiveley and Donald Shiveley.

Survivors include her fiancé Miles Murray of West Union; daughter Rhonda Grooms & Doug of Aberdeen; sisters Donna Frances & Brian of Manchester; Sis Baldwin of West Union; brothers Sam Shiveley of Manchester; Billy Shiveley of Columbus; Mike Shiveley of West Union; three grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at the Solid Rock Ministries in West Union. Graveside services will follow in the West Union Village Cemetery with Luther Jolly officiating. Services are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
