Ottie H. Barlow

Ottie Henry Barlow, 80, of Manchester, passed away, Friday, May 10, 2024 at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.  He was born April 2, 1944 in Mason County, Kentucky, son of the late Smith and Bertha Alice Brierly Barlow.  He was married to the late Patricia Montgomery.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Ellen Anderson, Billy Douglas Barlow, Phyliss Jean McDowell, Shirley Ann Humphreys, Judy Alice Hunt, Dana Beth Campbell, Jackie Breen Barlow and Cynthia Sue Campbell.  

Ottie was a Sergeant in the United States Army where he was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Manchester Veterans Club and attended New Beginnings Church in Manchester.

He is survived by his children, David (Erika) Barlow, Heather Barlow and Holly (Will Kirk) Barlow; his significant other, Patty Young; grandchildren, Alexus, Torie, Kendall and Easton Barlow, Piper and Bode Kirk; great-grandson, David Cortijo and a brother, Bobby Smith (Alice) Barlow.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Pastor Dale Little will officiate.  Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.
