Orville Ramey

Orville Ramey, age 88 years, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026. Orville was born March 9, 1937 in London, Ohio to the late Lunda & Cynthia (Poplin) Ramey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Odessa Lee Patrick, grandchild Andrew Ramey, sisters Shirley Ramey & Mary Ames.

He is survived by his wife Jane Ramey of Otway; daughter Deanna Lynn Grooms of West Union; son Thomas Aaron Ramey of Otway; sisters Leatha Collier of Columbus; Virginia Johnson of Blue Creek; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Orville’s wishes were to be cremated. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
