Molly Mae Francis

Molly Mae Francis, 98, of Blue Creek, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence.  She was born June 28, 1926 in Morgan County, KY, daughter of the late Mace and Lula E. Daniels Montgomery.  She was the widow of the late Bruce P. Francis, who passed away in 1993.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mason Montgomery and a sister, Polly Howard.

Molly loved going to church and attended Cedar Mills Church as well as Hamilton Church.  She loved being outside working in her garden and mowing her yard.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Francis; brothers, Sandy Montgomery, Bill (JoAnn) Montgomery and Clyde (Sally) Montgomery; sisters, Phyllis Beasley and Sara Cantrell.  

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union. Pastor Jeff Montgomery will officiate.  Burial will follow at Cole Cemetery off of Courtney Rd.
