Melba Marcella (Grooms) Jackman

Melba Marcella Jackman (nee Grooms), age 79 years of Franklin, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Atrium Medical Center of Middletown. Melba was born March 17, 1945 in Adams County, Ohio to the late Arthur & Evelyn (Mathews) Grooms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Benington & three brothers Noble Grooms, Charles Grooms & Michael Grooms.

Survivors include one brother Butch Grooms of West Union; three sisters Sheryl Long of Clinton, TN; Patsy Snider of West Union; Gail Grooms of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren Kayla Willett & Brittany Poe; & five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Noon at the West Union Cemetery, with Clarence Abbott officiating. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Research.
