Leslie Matthew Lorenz age 36 passed away July 18, 2025 at Buckeye Forest in Fairfield OH. He was born October 14, 1988 in Georgetown Ohio, He was a former FFA Member and former member of Liberty Farmers 4-H Club Matthew shared his families love of farming and raising livestock.

He loved International Harvester tractors and heavy-duty Ford trucks.

He is survived by his mother Linda (Sam) Kimmerly Jr of West Union Ohio, brothers Joseph Kimmerly of West Union OH, and Samuel Michael Kimmerly (Abby Politt) of Winchester Ohio. Uncles William (Bill) Tammy Chapman of West Union OH, Duane Yates of Winchester OH, and Donald (Barb) Yates of West Union OH. Aunt Gail Wescott of West Union OH, Lisa Ann Yates of Carlisle KY Loretta Robinson of Lexington KY Nieces Joanna Kimmerly, Akia Kimmerly, nephews Zander Gorman Kimmerly, Emmett Kimmerly, Jason Kimmerly and Samuel Wayne Kimmerly. He is preceded in death by his father Greg Matthew Lorenz, grandparents Leslie and Mary Lorenz, Emmett and Joan Yates Nephew Gene Michael Kimmerly, Uncles Danny Yates, Jack Yates, Charles Yates, Rick Yates, Michael Yates, and Paul Yates.

A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, Aug 5, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union. Services are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral.
