Marie (Blevins) Hutchinson

Marie Hutchinson, 90, of Manchester, Ohio, passed away November 16, 2023 at Austin Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation in Centerville, Ohio.  She was born on July 15th,1933 in Haverhill, Ohio, daughter of the late Ben and Daisy Blevins.  She was the widow of the late Wenton Hutchinson, who passed away in 2003.  In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Cracraft and her dear mother-in-law, Ruth Hutchinson.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Steve) Cracraft, Charles (Cindy) Hutchinson, Steven Hutchinson, Lisa Lang, Cheryl (Dan) Burkhardt; grandchildren, Benjie (Stella), Adam (Della), Rochelle (Jon), Michael (TingTing), Becky (Keith), Rachel, Josh (Christin), Katelyn (Santiago), Marissa and Bethany.  She was a great-grandmother to 17 and a great-great-grandmother to 9.  She is also survived by her siblings, Ann Carter, Buelah Stanley, Ben Blevins and Chester (Judy) Blevins.

Marie was a member of the Manchester Seventh Day Adventist Church for 53 years.  She served in multiple capacities wherever she was needed.  She was a founding member of the Community Care Center where she spent countless hours volunteering.  She greeted everyone with a smile and a warm hug.  Her greatest priority in life was showing the love of Jesus to others.

She enjoyed time with family, her cats, needlework and gardening. She will be remembered for her love for God and her love for everyone He placed in her life.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marie’s memory to Ventures Productions 11516 SR 41 West Union, Ohio 45693, who served the family for many years.
