Lula Smith

Lula Smith, age 78 years, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023. Lula was born May 29, 1945 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Edgar & Nancy (Keene) Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Kathleen Watts & Vergie Hall; four brothers Charles Turner, Vincent Turner, Ben Turner & Bobby Gene Turner.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John Smith of Florence, KY; daughter Vickie Gullion & Andy of Hebron, KY; sister Julia Bradford of West Union, OH; grandchildren Spencer & Cooper Gullion.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Cherry Fork Cemetery, with Clarence Abbott officiating. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
