Lois Elaine Stike

Lois Elaine Stike, 72, of West Union, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at her home.  She was born on July 3, 1952 in Bluefield, West Virginia.  She was the daughter of the late Lyle Landon Stike, Sr. and Frances Geraldine Gilmer Stike.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle Landon Stike, Jr. and her sister, Anna Farley.

Lois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Megan Zornes, and her three grandchildren, Amelia, Emma, and Quintin Zornes, all of Waverly, Ohio.  She is also survived by two brothers, David Wayne Stike of Peebles, Ohio and Walter Vincent Stike of Maysville, Kentucky.  Additionally, Lois is survived by her nieces and nephews: Jennifer Sumpter, Caitelin Blevins, Vincent Stike, Jamie Young, Danielle Aycock, Cindy Farley, Danny Farley, Kimberly Stump-Evans, 

Tammy Tackett, and Kelli Stump-Roush as well as many great-nieces and nephews.  

She loved and cherished every member of her family despite the distance and time which sometimes separated her from them.  Most importantly, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and trusted Him with her eternal soul.  

Lois loved spending time with her friends and quilting at the Adams County Senior Center.  

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family and close friends.  Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
