Larry Alexander

Larry Alexander, 76, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.  He was born January 14, 1947 in Maysville, Kentucky, son of the late George and Evelyn Wiles Alexander.  He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandina Tumbleson Alexander.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Alexander and his twin brother, Jerry Alexander.   

Larry was a Mason at Manchester Masonic Lodge #317 as well as Scottish Rite.  He retired as a Conductor for CSX Railway.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Robert Alexander and Elizabeth Alexander; grandchildren, Em Proffitt, Ariana Alexander, Tori (Tanner) Queen, Cameron Phillips, Destiny, Gracelyn and Charles Alexander; niece, Keri Alexander and a nephew, Matt (Paula) Alexander.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Funeral and Masonic services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home.  Pastor Owen Applegate will officiate.  Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.
