Kathy Hanson

Kathy Hanson, age 71 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. Kathy was born August, 24, 1952 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Ernest & Nellie (Roberts) Tackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hanson and brother Ray Tackett.

Survivors include two sons Joel Hanson & Brie of Manchester; Bradley Hanson of West Union; two sisters Linda Dozer of Ashville, OH; Debbie Detty of Chillicothe, OH; three grandchildren Aaron Hanson, Maxx Hanson & Lyrric Hanson.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Richard Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM the day of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Hospice of Hope or the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
