Judy A Grooms

Judy A. Grooms, age 80 years, of Blue Creek, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Adams County Hospice of Hope. Judy was born December 6, 1945 in Adams County Ohio to the late Ralph & Flo (Caraway) Armstrong. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Vicki Miranda.

Survivors include her husband Michael Grooms of Blue Creek; daughter Angela Ross & Rex of West Union; sons Dennis Grooms of Blue Creek, Douglas Grooms & Robin of West Union, Harold Grooms of Blue Creek; sisters Sandra Cooper of Piketon, Connie Dettmer & John of Cincinnati, Linda Stepp & Steve of Winchester, Patricia Oliver of Kitts Hill, OH; brother Joesph Darrel Armstrong & Chris of Utah; sister in law Shirley Stapleton of Lynx; son in law Darel Miranda of Blue Creek; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1:00 pm, at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with John Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the East Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hospice of Hope.
