Joyce Ann (Clark) Young

Joyce Ann Young, 86, of West Union, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her residence.  She was born May 12, 1938 in Brooksville, KY, daughter of the late William and Pearlwood Thomas Clark.  She was married to her loving husband, Ed Young, for 61 years, who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard, Cecil, Scotty, Darrell and William “Jr.” Clark and her sister, Brenda Branscome.  

Joyce was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of West Union.  She taught Sunday School and was a Girl Scout leader for several years.  Joyce was a homemaker that loved to work and stay busy.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tonja (Caleb) Grooms and Pamela Young; grandson, Jordan Young and her brother, Carlie (Martha) Clark.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Bible Baptist Church of West Union, 9840 SR 41, West Union.  Pastor Tim Carter will officiate.  Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
