John R. Reed

John R. Reed, age 71 years of Manchester, Ohio passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at Monarch Meadows in Seaman, Ohio. John was born September 20, 1954 in Blue Creek, Ohio to the late Hugh & Betty (McGowan) Reed.

John is survived by one daughter Angie Hesler & Randy of Winchester; two sons Johnny Reed & Heather of Winchester; Jeremy Reed & Crystal of Maysville; four sisters Joyce Unger of Lynx; Diane Taylor of West Union; Cathy Bailey of Cristiana, TN; Brenda Reed of Cambridge; two brothers Jim Reed of Hillsboro; Jeff Reed of Cropwell, AL; and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Rick Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Moores Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till the time of the funeral service on Friday. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Adams County Humane Society in John's memory.
