John Murphy, age 64 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, KY. John was born January 26, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Glenn Murphy & Geneva (Chamblin) Smith.

Survivors include his life partner Tammy Young of West Union; daughter Jaime Bayless & Danny of West Union; three sisters Linda Rafferty of Logan; Penny McNutt of Stout; Glenda Holsinger of Stout and grandchild Brayden Bayless.

A private family graveside service will be held at the West Union Village Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family of John Murphy.
