John Wayne "John Boy" Johnson III

John Wayne “John Boy” Johnson III age 24 years, of Otway, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021.  John was born on September 16, 1996 in Georgetown, Ohio to John Wayne Johnson II and the late Theresa Conley. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Michael Conley.

John attended The Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include his father John Johnson of West Union, OH; two sisters Jordan Johnson of Otway, OH; Stephanie Dickens & Derrick of Otway, OH; two brothers Ryan Conley of Blue Creek, OH; Joshua Johnson of Peebles, OH; two nieces Jadlynn Conley & Henlee Crabtree; maternal grandmother Virginia Conley of Blue Creek, OH; paternal grandparents Sandy & Dave Young of West Union, OH; John Wayne & Norma Johnson of Peebles, OH.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio, with Chad Burns officiating.  Burial will follow in the Vaughn Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from Noon till the time of the service.

During the visitation and funeral, masks will be required and social distancing rules will apply.
