Obituary
John C. Dyer, 72, of Ripley, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Ohio Valley Manor near Ripley. He was born August 9, 1950 in Brown County, son the late Eugene Dyer and Ruth A. Holton Shively. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cathy Caudill Dyer.
John was a member of the Russellville Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, John D. Dyer of Sardinia; daughter, Theresa (Philip) Cooper of Ash Ridge; sister, Debbie (Ron) Hurst of Mattawan, MI as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, May 15, 2023 at Meeker Funeral Home, 308 N. Columbus St., Russellville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Drue Lane will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Brown County Humane Society.
