Janet S. (Grooms) King, age 71 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the Monarch Meadows, Seaman, Ohio.

Janet was born May 18, 1954 in Adams County to late Betty Grooms & Ora Grooms. She is preceded in death by her brother Dean Grooms and daughter Lisa Grooms.

Janet is survived by her sons, Douglas & Nicole Bennett of Winchester, Ohio; and Jason Bennett of Cedar Mills, Ohio; her grandchildren, Quinton Bennett, D’Ana (Bennett) Mack, Gracie Bennett, Brinlee Bennett, Breanna Daley, Krystin Lamb and Tailer Semple; several great grandchildren, Quinn & Coleson Bennett, Lillian & Madelyn Mack, Finley Chamblin, Solara Lamb, Carter Penny, Rilee & Mac Semple; siblings, Neil & Alma Grooms, and Christina Grooms.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral home is serving the family.
