James H Wagner

James H. Wagner, age 96 of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at U.C. Medical Center. He was born November 11, 1928 in Camp Springs, KY the son of the late Joseph and Rose M. Wagner. He was a machinist at Balcrank and was a member of the Owensville Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Wagner; brothers, Raymond and Mourice Wagner and sisters, Norma Wirsch, Betty Scott and Shirley Varner.

He is survived by sons, Butch Wagner and wife Linda of Sardinia, Ricky A Wagner of Georgetown; daughter, Regina Stetson and husband Dan of Brooksville, FL; brother, Vernon Wagner of Batavia; sister, Jane Kelley of Milford; 8 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Owensville Church of God, 4703 Elmwood Rd, Batavia, OH 45103 under the direction of the Meeker Funeral Home. David Acree will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Ash Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
