James Charles Slusher, 87, of Seaman, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Eagle Creek Nursing Center. He was born November 30, 1936 in Knox Co., Kentucky, son of the late Amos and Lizzie Arthur Slusher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Elic, Bill, Frank and Eugene and his sisters, Thelma, Suda Marie, Patsy and Darlene.
James honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from the KDI Corporation.
He is survived by his brother, Harry (Lynn) Slusher; sister, Amanda Cooper all of West Union; children, Kim and Mark; grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Matthew, Zac, Noah and Hannah as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union. Larry Hoop will officiate. Burial will follow at West Union Village Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Adams County and US Army Honor Guards.
