James E. Pollitt

James E. Pollitt, age 52 years of Lynchburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. James was born November 26, 1970 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Ronald & Jessie (Dryden) Pollitt. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his Mother-In-Law Barbara Crase.

Survivors include his wife Pamela Pollitt of Lynchburg, OH; sons Bo Blanton of Beaver, OH; Seth Blanton of Waverly, OH; sisters Patricia O’Hare & John of Rarden, OH; Barbara Whitt & Luke of Lucasville, OH; Sandra Norman of Lucasville, OH; father-in-law Hobert Crase of Lynchburg, OH; grandchild Emerson Lee Blanton; several nieces, nephew, great nieces & great nephews; very good friends Patrick & Stephanie Ramey of Jamestown, OH.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Fairview Church of Christ, 4200 US HWY 50 Hillsboro, OH 45133, with Don Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the church. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
