James Daniel Newton "Danny" Land

James Daniel Newton “Danny” Land, age 47 years, of West Union, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 in Manchester. Danny was born June 3, 1977 in West Union, Ohio to Dawn (Godby) & the late James H. Land. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Greg Land, both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Danny loved to hunt. Loved his kids. And loved to pick and joke around with all the kids and family.

Danny leaves behind his mother Dawn Land; children Jericho Reynolds, Hayden & Ryder Land, Jovey Stephenson; siblings Keith (Sarah) Land, Brandi (Scott) Persch; sister-in-law Emily Land; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Robbie Blythe officiating. Burial will be held at the Kirker cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
