Geneva Lee Smith, 86 of Covington, Ky, formerly of Wheelersburg, Ohio, has left her earthly body and is no longer in pain. She now resides in the Arms of Jesus!!!!! She was a homemaker, and she loved to make quilts, to cook and to feed everybody. She was born April 28, 1935 in Blue Creek, Ohio, to Otis and Berta Chamblin who preceded her in death. Also proceeded by her husband, William (Bill) Smith, and a grandson Bob Cook, a sister Betty Russell, and a niece Dianna Gregory.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rafferty of Logan, Ohio and her son Ralph Johnnie (Tammy) Murphy of West Union, Ohio. Her sister, Agnes Haley, whom she dearly loved. And a very Special niece Vicky Hamilton, who was also her friend and her Hero. And a family friend whom she called, Butchie. 6 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren with numerous Nieces and Nephews and extended family. She will be truly missed. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with Pat Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11:00 A.M. to Noon. Burial will follow in the Moores Chapel Cemetery.
