Garry T. Easterling

Garry T. Easterling, 79, of Blue Creek, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at SOMC in Portsmouth.  He was born April 19, 1945 in Wrigley, KY, son of the late Theodore and Emma Fults Easterling.  He is survived by his loving companion, Cora Evans.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Easterling; sister, Delma Easterling; niece, Angela Hafley and a brother-in-law, Stephen Parks.

Garry served 12 years in the Army National Guard.  He was a retired truck driver who was a very sociable person.  He loved to talk to people and loved trading.

In addition to his companion, Cora, he is survived by his brother, David Easterling; sister, Charlotte Parks; 1 niece; 3 nephews; 3 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends that will miss him.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 29 2024 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union.  Dennis Grooms will officiate.  Burial will follow at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek.
