Eric Earl Lang, born January 14, 1955, departed this life on January 11, 2025 at his residence.
Eric recently gave his heart to the Lord and became an avid church goer. During his time in the Marine Corps, he traveled to Okinawa, Japan, and mastered the art of Jujitsu and Shotokan fighting styles. He earned a Red Belt in the art of Jujitsu and a Godan Belt in the art of Shotokan. He brought his knowledge back to the United States where he taught hundreds of others what he learned.
He is survived by his sister, Mary “Jackye” Lang McGee, his nieces Alissa McGee and her companion Glenn Baker, and Samantha (Jeffrey) Barton and his great nephew Jonathan Gilbert II. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Thelma “Pud” Chambers Lang, his father, Marine Veteran Earl Lang, his youngest brother, Todd Lang, and his companion of many years, Judy Collins.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio are in charge of arrangements.
