Edgar "Butch" Rose Jr.

Edgar “Butch” Rose Jr., age 77 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Matheson, Colorado. Butch was born February 24, 1948 in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Edgar Rose Sr. & Ruby (Sivils). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Nedra (Grooms) Rose; brother Wayne Rose & step-son Todd Rainwater.

Survivors include daughter Dena Stamper; sons Billy Joe Rose, David Eugene Rose, Eric John Rose; sister Alvilda Hillery; brothers Lee Marvin Rose & Kelly Rose; several grandchildren & great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at Noon, at the West Union Cemetery, with Ron Baker officiating. Military graveside services provided by the Adams County Honor Guard. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
