Earnestine I. Holcomb, 88, of West Union, OH passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman. She was born on May 15, 1938 in Winchester, KY to the late Ernest H. Wilder Sr. and Irene (Niblack) Wilder. She loved her grandbabies and was a big Elvis fan. Earnestine never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband, Prince Franklin Holcomb; daughter, Terri Wagner; son-in-law, Todd Staten; granddaughter, Joslyn Wagner and brother, Earnest Wilder Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Staten of Ash Ridge; step children, Gary Holcomb, Larry Holcomb and Karen Sheeley; sister, Betty Moore of Covington, KY as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
