Douglas L. Bennett, 70, of Cedar Mills, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was born in Ohio in 1954 to Harold & Mary Bennett.

Dougie was a devoted and loving father to Dougie Jr. and Jason, who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them. Pops loved farming and family more than anything on this earth.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; Harold & Mary Bennett.

Dougie is survived by his sons; Douglas & Nicole (Grooms) Bennett of Winchester, OH and Jason Bennett of Cedar Mills, OH, his grandchildren; Quinton Bennett, D’Anna (Bennett) Mack, Gracie Bennett, Brinlee Bennett, Breanna Daley, Krystin Lamb and Tailer Semple, and several great grandchildren; Quinn & Coleson Bennett, Lillian & Madelyn Mack, Finley Chamblin, Solora Lamb, Carter Penny, Rilee & Mac Semple; siblings Kathy Hall, Nancy Storer, Linda Bennett & Lawerence Bennett all of Cedar Mills, OH.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 from 11:00 am till Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Services are entrusted to The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
