Donald Kitchen

Donald Kitchen passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center. Donald was born on June 23, 1946 the son of the late Jack and Daisy (Rister) Kitchen in Adams County, Ohio. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Junior and Ronald Kitchen, sister Carolyn Cox, and granddaughter Heather Dawn Grooms.

Donald is survived by his wife JoAnn (Cook) Kitchen of West Union, Ohio; daughter Sherry Kitchen of West Union, Ohio; one sister Nellie Prible of Manchester, Ohio; four brothers Gene Kitchen and Bobbi of West Union, Ohio; Dave Killgillion of Blue Creek, Ohio; Robert Killgillion of Portsmouth, Ohio; Jamie Killgillion of Stout, Ohio; two grandchildren Melgen Delk and Lucifer Nex and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 12:30 P.M. at the McKendree Cemetery, with Ronnie Richmond officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 the day of the service at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
